The girls are chugging along towards 1. It’s so CRAZY how much faster the time is going with them than it did with their brother. Of course, when you go from 1 to 3 and throw in speed crawling it tends to make time go fast!
It’s so funny how the girls differ in development. Physically they are obviously different. Developmentally, they each have their own pace of course and one knows this, while the other knows that and they have really started teaching and learning from each other. It’s pretty cool and oh so sweet!

At their appointment, I asked the doctor if it was normal for Erin not to be talking. She responded that Erin is at the normal development, Anna is just an overachiever! It was kind of funny, because Anna is VERY talkative. Not 2 days later, Erin’s vocabulary bursts out with – Mama, Dada, Baba, Nana. Anna also started saying Baba because she didn’t know it and learned from Erin.
The girls LOVE being outdoors, but it is just so hot most days. We made our screened porch into a livable area, so with a rug out there, we can go out and be shaded in the morning, and have a little cool air blowing on us. It will be interesting to see how they will handle the beach for our vacation. They love the pool too, so at least we can probably guarantee that!
Big brother loves them, but he can also be a little of an antagonizer, so we have to try to keep him occupied. Each day is fun, but getting more hectic as we go along. Everyone does pretty well, most days!
